Interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted against giving his players a curfew during the trip, according to The Sun .
And the mood appeared to be good as midfielder Ander Herrera shared a picture of himself at a restaurant alongside fellow Spaniards Juan Mata, David de Gea and goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez, plus Ivorian centre back Eric Bailly.Herrera posted the picture to Instagram along with the captain ‘Spain and Ivory Coast army’.
De Gea and Mata were also seen playing table tennis outdoors at the five-star One&Only Royal Mirage hotel, where the United party is based.
When United return to England they face a trip to Wembley to face Tottenham on Sunday in what is expected to be Solskjaer and his team’s biggest test yet.
But Solskjaer said: ‘We don’t go to Dubai and just prepare for Tottenham. We have to prepare for the rest of the season. It’s how we fare against PSG and Liverpool.’Victory No 5 for Solskjaer saw him equal Sir Matt Busby’s record when he started as United manager in 1946.
Typically, though, the Norwegian is not getting carried away by his achievement.
‘I don’t care,’ added Solskjaer. ‘Not now. I might sit down in 20 years’ time and look at whatever records I have. But I never look back. Never ever.
‘The players are getting confidence and momentum. Let’s see where it takes us. We’re always good towards the end of the season anyway.’
