Scarlett’s T-shirt read ‘Daddy to win’ with a sparkly red heart, followed by the hashtag #TeamRyan, and Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas’ two young children sported ‘Uncle Ryan to win’ versions of the top.

The sweet snap was captioned: ‘The whole family is behind Ryan! Hope you guys are too!! Your support has been amazing throughout please don’t fall at the last hurdle and pick up the phone! Details in his story. #teamryan.’

Ryan went on to be win Celebrity Big Brother – as predicted by the bookies – and spoke about his family’s unwavering support during his exit-interviews.

But host Emma Willis couldn’t help but begin by pointing out that while Ryan had been victorious on Celebrity Big Brother, his famous brothers (who were sat in the audience) both came third in their respective reality show competitions. But host Emma Willis couldn't help but begin by pointing out that while Ryan had been victorious on Celebrity Big Brother, his famous brothers (who were sat in the audience) both came third in their respective reality show competitions

Adam Thomas – who competed in I’m A Celebrity Get My Out Of Here in 2016 – and Scott Thomas – who took part in Love Island the same year – immediately fell about laughing, and Ryan couldn’t hide his amusement at Emma’s sneaky jibe either.

The presenter then added salt to his brothers’ wounds as she read out a note which she had been given by the show’s producers, which contained a sassy statement, that Ryan allegedly made before entering the Elstree bungalow.

It read: ‘I’m the big brother and I’ve got the show them how it’s done. I came here to prove a point to them and them only.’

After discussing the difficult time he endured during his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, which stemmed from soap star Roxanne Pallett falsely accusing him of physical assault, Ryan opened up about the support he has around him in the ‘real world’.Ryan couldn't hide his amusement at Emma's sneaky jibe either

He said: ‘For me I have the best network of family and friends, I’ve got the best mates in the world – some here today.’

Later, during Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side with Rylan Neal-Clark, Ryan Thomas gushed about his brothers Scott and Adam, and his on-off girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh.

The BBOTS presenter praised Ryan’s family, telling the new CBB champion that they are a ‘credit’ to him, to which the Corrie actor responded: ‘I can’t live my life without my two brothers, and that’s where everything’s come into play.

‘I think about them every single day. They’re the closest thing to anything I have in my life, and as much as my daughter, my brothers – if anything goes wrong – they’re always there for me, and I’ve never, ever, ever let that go while I was in that house.

‘I am very lucky to have the best girlfriend, the best, best friends in the world, and the best family, but my brothers to me keep me going and keep the light on, and that’s why I kept going.

‘Adam and Scott you have no idea how much you mean to me.’
