They made history back in 2011, when they became the first ever group to be crowned winners of The X Factor.
And while Little Mix were back gracing the X Factor stage for its live finale on Sunday night, their show-stopping performance was overshadowed by an overzealous Nicole Scherzinger, 39, who was seen dancing and screaming at the girls from her seat on the judging panel.
Loving every minute of the girls’ rendition of their anthem Power, the former Pussycat Doll was seen busting a move from her seat, but was branded ’embarrassing’ by viewers, as they accused Nicole of trying to ‘steal the limelight’ from the girlband on stage.
Band members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall entered the stage in demure style, wearing black trouser suits as they belted out their chart-topping hit Power.
And after commanding the stage with their vocals, they then brought out the members of Latin American boy band CNCO to perform their hit collaboration Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos).
While they added the young men to the stage – on their first ever trip to the UK – the Little Mix ladies soon shed their clothing, ripping away their long bottoms to perform in skimpy ensembles that included their signature leotards.
Undoubtedly assuming all eyes would be on them, the girls found their performance overshadowed by Nicole who couldn’t resist showing her support for the four-piece and dancing along excitedly.
However, fans of The X Factor weren’t so impressed with her ‘mum moves’ and took to Twitter in their droves to slam the star. They penned: ‘None can steal the limelight from @LittleMix especially not Nicole. It’s physically impossible. (sic)
