The 18-year-old – whose real name is Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson – revealed her deep-held beliefs about Michael’s death to Rolling Stone, in which she dismissed claims he died from a drug overdose at the age of 50.
“It’s obvious,” she said about rumours the Beat It icon was murdered.
“All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bulls**t, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bulls**t.”
When asked who could have wanted Michael dead, Paris pointed out that “a lot of people” had issues with the singer.
“Of course [I want justice],” she went on. “I definitely do, but it’s a chess game.
“And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”
In the in-depth interview, Paris also spoke about Michael’s paranoia that there were mysterious people who were “out to get him”.
“And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day,'” she said, echoing claims also made by Michael’s ex wife Lisa Marie Presley to Oprah.
